2003:Life vest from freighter Pong Su 

Life vest - Treasure Road is the name of the ship that operated for 18 years as a grain freighter and was later renamed the Pong Su. It became the subject of a major transnational drug trafficking operation. A total of 150 kilograms of heroin was landed off the Victorian coast and 34 people were arrested. This life vest was recovered from the ship after it was held by the AFP. Donated by Branko Ivanovic. (Cat. No. AFPM2112)​

2005: Carved Door 

Carved door - Objects used for concealing the importation of drugs into Australia often demonstrate the criminal’s determination and creativity in executing the importation. This carved door is no exception. The door, which had been air freighted from Mexico, contained five kilograms of cocaine. An airport x-ray revealed anomalies within the door’s edges. 2004: Sofitel Hotel Thailand

Panel from Sofitel hotel - A world tragedy of unbelievable proportions, the tsunami of 26 December, 2004 hit Thailand and other countries wreaking indiscriminate destruction of lives and property. This painted panel is from the Sofitel Magic Lagoon hotel, Khao Lak, Thailand which was destroyed that day. An AFP Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team assisted with the tsunami recovery operation. Donated by Michael Travers. (Cat. No. AFPM2113)
